How lodge alerts work
- Pick a lodge, or several in the same park.
- Choose your check-in dates and how many nights in a row you need.
- Tell us how many guests, so we only look at rooms that fit.
- When a room opens for your whole stay, you get an email with a link to book it on the official lodge site.
We only alert you for the full stay you asked for. If you’re flexible, add a second watch for a shorter stay and piece the trip together.
Tips for getting a lodge room
- Watch every lodge in the park. Old Faithful Inn is the dream, but a room at Grant Village still puts you inside Yellowstone.
- Cancellation deadlines matter. Many lodges charge a fee if you cancel close to arrival, so lots of rooms come back just before that deadline.
- Split a stay. Two nights at one lodge and one at another is common, and much easier to find.
- Shoulder season is kinder. Late spring and early fall open up far more often than July and August.

Prices change with dates and room type, so we link you to the official booking page, which shows the current rate before you pay.
Can I ask for a specific room type?
Our alerts look at whether any room fits your dates and guests. Once you click through, you choose the room type on the official site.
Do you watch lodges outside the parks?
Not right now. We focus on in-park lodges, which are the hardest to get. Hotels in gateway towns usually have availability on regular booking sites.
